Social Analytics App Installation (required)

Step 1

In your Pinnacle Cart admin area, go to Cart Settings -> Appearance & Content and choose 'Activate Cart Designer'.

Step 2

On your homepage, right click in the footer area of your site and click 'Edit Source Code'.

Step 3

Paste your AddShoppers Social Analytics code (found here) at the bottom of the file (make sure it's the 'footer.html' file) and save. Be sure to wrap the code with {literal}{/literal} tags, if it isn't already.

Sharing Buttons Installation

Step 1

While in Cart Designer mode (see step 1 of Social Analytics app installation instructions), go to any product page on your site. Right click on your desired location for installation of your sharing buttons (we recommend the Quantity/Add To Cart box) and choose 'Edit Source Code'.

Step 2

Paste your AddShoppers button code in this file (usually at either the very beginning or end) and save. Our recommended location is the top of the 'element-purchase.html' file.

Product Schema Codes -- Optional (but recommended)

If you want to install Product Schema codes so your shares will include your product's price, name, description, and image, add this code after your Sharing Button code:

ROI Tracking Installation

Step 1

While in Cart Designer mode (see step 1 of Social Analytics app installation instructions), go to any product page on your site, add it to your cart, and make a test order.

On the checkout success page, right click in the area near where it says "Your Order Has Been Sent" and choose "Edit Source Code".

Step 2

Paste your AddShoppers ROI Tracking code at the bottom of the file (make sure it's the 'completed.html' file) and save. Be sure to wrap the code with {literal}{/literal} tags, if it isn't already.

Purchase Sharing Installation

In your AddShoppers dashboard, go to Apps -> Purchase Sharing and configure your sharing popup
Paste your AddShoppers purchase sharing code at the bottom of the file (make sure it's the 'completed.html' file) and save.

How to Add a Social Reward

Note: You must be using our Sharing Buttons in order to add a Social Reward.

Go to the Social Rewards tab in the Get Apps section of your AddShoppers dashboard. Here, you can configure the reward that you want to offer in return for people sharing your products. You can customize the reward per sharing source (Facebook, Twitter, etc), or you can do the same reward for all sharing types.
